"A vision of the future. A reflection of the past.", Warframe 11th Anniversary 2nd place, April 2024

I submitted this piece to Warframe's 11th Anniversary Contest, and I won 2nd place! The prompt for this contest was "steel" and or "mirror", which I used to depict the steel-wielding Arthur and Excalibur mirroring each other as a symbolic illustration of their strange mirrored realities across time. You can find the contest forum post here: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1383898-11-year-anniversary-community-contest-winners-announced/

This piece was actually drawn last minute before the deadline in the span of two nights and a morning, as I was very busy with schoolwork and was hesitant to enter earlier. That was until I came up with the idea for this piece, which I felt strongly enough to crunch out. Miraculously enough, I was able to draw something to a finalized enough state in time for submission! I'm proud of what I was able to pull off in such a short (though feverish) time span.

"A vision of the future."

A card-styled illustration of Arthur and Excalibur mirrored from each other. Both of them are in the same pose, holding glowing swords vertically (Arthur wielding his signature blade and Excalibur with a Skana).

"A reflection of the past."

A flipped version of the previous image, now with Excalibur in the top left and Arthur in the bottom right.

Timelapse that was started halfway through, showing the process from sketch to final for this piece.
