Prismatic color assignment and adjustments, October 2024
For a color class we were given an assignment to choose an existing prismatic artwork, pick out the twelve most prominent colors, and make two original pieces with it. I decided to comb through my copy of The Art of Warframe, settling on a piece from page 114.
After making each new piece I also decided to make some color adjustments to my own liking, which I felt was good practice and satisfying in its own right but of course not part of the assignment. I genuinely had a lot of fun with this!
The first piece even got later chosen for the cover of a student-ran fine arts magazine at my school!!
