"It sounds like a dog toy," Drawing I mixed media assignment, 49.5" x 36.5", April 2023
This was a mixed media project for a Drawing I class in college, with the goal of drawing any animal of our choosing. I chose the desert rain frog, in referencing this viral video by the BBC: https://youtu.be/HBxn56l9WcU?si=EIFyWlITOdL-zlUa
The drawing is primarily charcoal, but in addition some ink wash was used for the skin patterns and white acrylic paint was used for sand grain highlights. The dimensions ended up as 49.5" x 36.5" after I cropped it a bit.
